Okay, so the homies over at
ITE (aka
In This Economy?) have inspired us a little bit here at ThugBoss. They ran a post on Monday called
The Beat Tape Bailout, which basically shed some light on some great music that was out there on the web to be had for free.
Free? Yes
free. Well man, since then, they either missed a few, or maybe a few more joints have been dropped. How amazing is it that we live in a time where all it takes is a decent internet connection to get all the free (legal) music we could ever wish for? One thing is for sure, if we are in a recession, these artists surely feel our pain. So whether you can't afford to buy any new CDs, or just wanna hear some new and very fresh music, I suggest you continue reading.
I guess you can call this the
Beat Tape Bailout part II.
Jon Hope | Some Kind Of WonderfulJon Hope is a very gifted MC hailing from Rhode Island. Here is his new EP that he is just giving away to us for free. What recession? Get it!

Mr Peter Parker | Asher Roth's Day OffI guess you could say that ThugBoss has been all up on Asher's bozack as of late, but what can we say? The kid is dope. If you have been procrastinating, then this tape is a perfect refresher course for all the stuff that wasn't on his
Greenhouse Effect mixtape. For the fans, there should be enough remixes/blends to hold you over for 12 days, until the album drops.

Mr. Peter ParkerDJ SELECT | Summertime Selections | Vol 1
The funkiest mix of the whole bunch. This is a raw mix from Dallas' own DJ Select. This is the one you put on for that first party of the summer. You can also catch him at various clubs during the week (if you live in Dallas). Follow Select on
Twitter, or check out his
blog here.
DOWNLOADVohn Beatz | A Child's Painting
Now, we have 11 year old prodigy/the future of all that is beatmaking... Mr. Vohn Beatz. He is the 11 (maybe 12 now) year old son of Hip Hop super producer S-1 (aka Symbolic One) of
Strange Fruit Project. Like his father, this kid is amazing with the beats. This tape has many guest appearances ranging from Headkrack, Picnic, Hi-Tek, Braille and many more. I'm not even gonna say that for an eleven year old whatever... for a man any age,
VohnBeatz puts it down. This kid is AMAZING.

Just like every other drop in this post Y-O and Thurz come through with some amazing (and did I mention free?) music.
This is a true must cop. So basically go to the site and do whatever it takes to get this album. I gave them my email on general principal...

"Jacques,
Andrea and

Filled with exclusive tracks from XV, Outasight, Harlem’s Cash, Jon Hope, Nero, Esso, J.Rocwell, Keelay & Zaire, P. Casso, Shawn Chrystopher, Evidence and more."
